XLCC, the UK-based high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable manufacturer and installer, today announces the appointment of Georgios Eleftheriadis as Cable Factory Director. Georgios’, with 15 years of rich experience in the industry specialising in EHV underground cables and HV submarine cables manufacturing, will play a vital role in building a world-leading facility.
Georgios will head operations at the HVDC cable facility in Hunterston, on the west coast of Scotland. He joins the company as XLCC grows to play an increasingly crucial role in the sustainable energy transition and become a key player in the subsea energy infrastructure market.
Georgios brings extensive managerial knowledge, including holding a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt with further knowledge in Integrated Process Management (IPM). These skills were essential to Georgios’ role at Hellenic Cables, where he oversaw business transformation and ever-rising operational standards.
Georgios has a Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Systems & Management, as well as a Master of Business Administration.
